NOV 2009–PSI Midstream Partners, L.P. and a unit of Williams have consummated the acquisition of the Williams-owned Cameron Meadows Gas Plant by PSI. The 500-MMcfd gas processing plant is located near Johnson Bayou in Cameron Parish, La.

The plant design consists of two process trains: the Cameron Train capable of 300 MMcfd and the JB Train capable of 200 MMcfd. It serves as a straddle plant for the North High Island and West Cameron offshore pipeline systems, which are part of the Williams-owned Transco natural gas pipeline system. The North High Island System extends west from Johnson Bayou to offshore Gulf of Mexico production areas south of Galveston, Texas. The West Cameron System extends east from Johnson Bayou to offshore Gulf of Mexico production areas south of Cameron, La.
The current plant throughput volume is averaging approximately 250 MMcfd. In addition to its connections to the Transco-operated pipeline systems, Cameron Meadows has a connection with the Enbridge-operated UTOS system.
PSI is a private midstream company formed in December 2005 to pursue Gulf Coast and offshore Gulf of Mexico midstream asset opportunities with equity backing from management and Natural Gas Partners. PSI’s other operated assets include several offshore pipeline systems and the newly constructed 125 MMcfd design Kaplan Gas Plant in Vermilion Parish, La. PSI is currently gathering, processing, and conditioning more than 375 MMcfd through its 100% owned and operated assets.
JAN 2007–PSI Midstream Partners, LP has signed pipeline connection and surface lease agreements for the construction of a new natural gas processing plant to provide NGL extraction and gas conditioning on the Transco operated Central Louisiana Lateral pipeline system located near Kaplan, Louisiana. Site construction on the new 125 MMcfd cryogenic expander plant is expected to begin during the first quarter of 2007.
PSI is a newly formed midstream asset company with a primary business focus on acquiring and constructing gathering, processing, and conditioning assets to support oil and gas production activities in Texas, Louisiana, and GOM areas.
